Miracle Lounge Don Mueang (DMK) | Which One Is Better?

Don Mueang Airport (DMK) has two Miracle Lounges in Terminal 1 (International Departures).

If you’re using Priority Pass, which one should you choose?

I visited both lounges between 2:00 AM and 5:00 AM to see which one actually works for late-night flights.

If you’re flying late at night, the upper lounge is the better choice.

Miracle Lounge at DMK – Basic Info

  • Open: 24 hours
  • Price: 1,000 THB (2 hours)

Both lounges share the same basic services.
Food and drinks are buffet-style, with alcohol included (beer, whisky, etc.).

Even at 2 AM, everything was fully stocked — no difference from daytime.

Wi-Fi and power outlets are available in both lounges.
Sockets are universal, so no adapter needed.

No showers.

Where Are the Miracle Lounges?

Both lounges are located in Terminal 1 (International Departures, airside).

After passing security, you’ll find them within a short walking distance.

There are two lounges with the same name, but different layouts:

  • Miracle Lounge No.1 (Lower floor)
    → Near King Power duty-free
    → Take the escalator down
    → Faces the runway

  • Miracle Lounge No.2 (Upper floor)

    → Go upstairs
    → No outside view

Upper Floor vs Lower Floor (Key Difference)

Lower Floor (Runway View Lounge)

A large, open space facing the runway.

  • Spacious layout
  • Many seats
  • Good natural light (daytime)
  • Aircraft views

At night, however, the runway is dark — the view disappears.

Even though it’s quiet late at night, the space still feels like a waiting area rather than a place to rest.

Upper Floor (Quiet Lounge)

Smaller, darker, and clearly designed for resting.

  • Dim lighting
  • Partitioned seating
  • Reclining chairs available
  • Much quieter atmosphere

Some seats allow you to lie down, and several people were actually sleeping.

Partitioned sMore private than the lower floor, with partitioned seating.

If your goal is to rest, this is the better option.

Which One Should You Choose?

Here’s how to choose:

  • Want to sleep or rest → Upper floor
  • Want space or views → Lower floor (daytime only)

At night, the lower floor loses its main advantage (the view),
so the upper floor becomes the better choice.

Is It Worth Using at Night?

Yes — especially for late-night or early morning flights.

Compared to waiting outside in the terminal:

  • You get a proper seat (with cushioning)
  • It’s quieter
  • Food and drinks are available

Even a short 2-hour stay makes a noticeable difference before an early flight.

Miracle Lounge vs Coral Lounge

There’s also a Coral Lounge nearby, which is often compared.

  • Stay longer → Coral Lounge (up to 3 hours)
  • Better for sleeping → Miracle Lounge (upper floor)

If you want to avoid moving between lounges, Coral is more convenient.
If you prioritize quiet and rest, Miracle is better.

Final Verdict

  • Late night / early morning → Miracle Lounge (upper floor)
  • Longer stay without moving → Coral Lounge

Even within the same airport, the experience is completely different.
A short 2-hour rest can make a real difference before an early flight.
